Hello, it's Tennill. I read your vision statement draft and edited it some to read more along the lines of a "What We Do" section. If anyone has anything they want to add or change, suggestions are welcomed.
Who We Are...
Messages of Hope is designed with the purpose of restoring and perpetuating Hope, intrinsically, through effective multimedia endeavors. By using various forms of media, we can deploy our “Messages of Hope” to a larger target audience expanding around the globe. We assist organizations whose aspirations are to deliver their messages, in-house or published, purely, by using our proposed, cost-effective criteria and positivism, thus allowing positive promotion and distribution of the organization’s success, while increasing their overall revenue.
Messages of Hope demonstrates best organizational practices, established with a doctrine of fairness to all who work for our company, yielding the model alliance of others’ emulation. Our avidity is derived largely from the aspects of Gore and Associates of Newark, Delaware, a flat lattice organizational model.
Messages of Hope makes evident how people can hope, reach for the sky, and dream of a world where fairness, with kindness prevails. We bring humanity out of the darkness and into the sunlight, inspiring hope in every corner of the world.
Our personal mission is to change the world, “One Message of Hope at a Time.” We empower people to dream and from those dreams, apply progressive cultivation to their present circumstances, enabling their aspirations to become their achievements.
Messages of Hope carries this philosophy over into the staffing aspects of our organization, employing people whose direction it is to attain fulfillment in their hearts and souls from their career(s). Our staff has the freedom of flowing from one different project to another, after having fulfilled prior commitments to past and current projects. We find this non-hierarchal method effective and advantageous, since there are no confirmed titles amongst peers. Every employee is an integral component to our success as a whole.
Lastly, we empower people to give the gift of Hope to others, with the expectation that the recipient(s) will become acclimated with Hope and continue to enlighten the world with all its commissions.
- Terry here: Well, that's the second person who's been able to take my ramblings and turn them into actual sentences!
Thank you!!
- I like the direction these edits are going, as they take the idealism to a point where it sounds palatable and plausible. I'd like to try for still more ways of stating a couple ideas, because I had to look things up to clearly grasp what was meant! :-)
- "yielding the model alliance of others’ emulation."
- ... getting people to copy us (heh)
- "Our avidity is derived largely from the aspects of Gore and Associates of Newark, Delaware, a flat lattice organizational model."
- We're eager to copy them!
- "with the expectation that the recipient(s) will become acclimated with Hope and continue to enlighten the world with all its commissions."
- Figuring they'll get used to having hope for themselves and will get other people to become used to the idea also.
(My thinking: If a NYC corner peanut vender can understand it, then an MBA may be able to also...)
Hey Mr.B! Tennill, here. Maybe we could change "yielding the model alliance of others' emulation" to "creating an alliance other businesses will find ideal and effective." And "Our avidity is derived largely from..." to "Our system of shared responsibilities is adopted largely from the employee structure of Gore and Associates of Newark, Delaware, a flat lattice organizational model." I thought the last part sounded kind of poetic. Maybe I was being a bit too much Emily Dickinson on that one. LOL! I'll get back with you on that one. ^_^
You Go, Emily Dickinson! More thoughts later - I've been elsewhere all over this Wiki for a couple hours already!
Kathy here -
Our mission is to enable organizations to communicate effectively their visions to the community at large.
Terry here - Actually, Kathy, I have come to the awareness that to be eligible in this state for some major grants and benefits, I have to separate the design and manufacturing aspect of the original idea from the consulting services part. The consulting services will have to be relegated to a different company (a new sole proprietorship/flat lattice organization) completely, in order to comply to the rules governing the qualifications for these grants. (It can not also "provide services" but must be purely a manufacturing effort.) So, Messages of Hope will be focused upon coming up with the messages (like James and Keith have been doing so prolifically), the design of the format and presentation of the message, and the production and distribution of the products which result. The field is open for coming up with a new name for the consulting services company, which has not yet been formed.
